Black Lakes

Blurring the boundaries between hard rock and alternative metal, BLACK | LAKES have a reputation as a captivating live act, with dark imagery and high energy at the core of their live show.

Black Lakes was formed in 2018 and have released two albums to date. Their debut, ‘For All We’ve Left Behind' in February 2022, and their sophomore, ‘DEAD GODS’ in September 2024. The band have enjoyed extensive airplay across national radio, including KERRANG!, ERB, Planet Rock and the BBC.

Highlights to date include winning the 2024 Newport Radio award for ‘Best punk/metal band”, winning ‘Rising Stars’ at the HRH awards 2025, being selected by Planet Rock to open the Sophie Lancaster stage on the Sunday of Bloodstock Festival and playing Steelhouse festival recently.

In April 2026, they successfully delivered their first headline tour at extremely short notice following the withdrawal of the original headline act. Rising to the challenge, ‘From the Ashes’ Tour was organised and executed within just days, proving both their agility and capability. The tour exceeded expectations and marked a major milestone, showcasing their ability to turn pressure into a standout success.

BLACK | LAKES are currently working on their third album, aiming to release early 2027.
